What do you do when you really want to write but are unable to for 6 hours? It’s frustrating to say the least. I have to wait until my children are in bed but my brain is wanting to write in the middle of the day!
"I loved writing as a child, loved making up silly stories. They came built-in to my brain, almost like an Ikea instruction manual. The focus these days is to figure out how to now turn them into books" Tanya Butler, June 2018

As an update I’m pleased to announce I got to write around 300 words this afternoon whilst my youngest slept and my eldest sat in front of Paw Patrol.
There always times when you really intend to spend some quality time writing and then Bam! Life jumps in. Me, I have the day job and three fantastic kids. My wife also works, so the writing life at times gets to take a backseat. As Alucard Djin said, write it down. No excuse not to, since you can use pen/pencil and paper/notepad or make a note on your phone or other device for later. The important thing is to not lose sight of the ideas.
